Kinda hard to explain what it's like to see very tall mountains from sea level. It really messes with your perception. They seem way closer than they are.

A volcanic crater of Mt.Aso, Japan
The trace of a huge eruption 90,000 years ago.

Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. A really cool place.

well considering they just previously discovered Greenland, Newfoundland might as well have been the new fertile crescent to them kek
by the way, they ended up finding a second and third viking settlement in Newfoundland, this time on the southwest coast, rather than north

Hitachi Kaihin Park
Stunning view of the "Golden gate of Finland", the longest bridge in Finland, opened in 2008. Costs were around 20 million euros and construction was started in the mid 70's. This bridge connects Finland with Western world and basically made Finland 1st world country. When you visit Finland, please visit the bridge and pay your respects. It's our national pride among dish drying closet, spördö spurpelo and angry birds.
>>59222948
It is not shopped. Its in Lofoten. I have been there
>>59223439
You call that a fjord?
Most of the nature in southern sweden is just endless lush green leaf forests and farmland just as green
with a coastline and 20+ celsius during summer
feels good
And the north and some parts of the south are filled with gargantuan forests that can be kinda creepy and also mountains

>>59224830
Yes, that's what you call it.
>>59224974
Uh huh?
>>59224774
Thanks, especially coming from a Norwegian since your country look amazing. The Alps are pretty popular as far as nature go as well as the rest of Provence but some places like the Massif Central don't get many attention, pic related
>>59224729
I second this, there are big plains in northern France with fields everywhere that are dull, but the same with rolling hills elsewhere suddenly has charm

How deep is it? I remember a lake that reminded me of one, it was on a mountain surrounded by rocky-mountainish beaches and it was like 5 - 10 meters deep and maybe 30 meters wide.
i think it was called Torrekulla sjö

comfy rocks
Taken in Guadeloupe
>>59225411
this is a rullstensås
they hold caches of rocks under them and sometimes those rocks are also littered all around the place, formed by glaciers
>>59225411
What's interesting about it?
>>59225275
If you know basic Russian, getting around is easy as hell. The cheapest way is to take a marshutka (mini-bus). For 1500 soms (19 euros), I was able to get from the capital city to Almaty, Kazakhstan (almost a 250km distance).
Domestic plane tickets are also very inexpensive, usually only ~60 euros for a flight to anywhere within the country.
>>59225411
this looks like the average swedish island out on the sea
>>59225318
Yeah, this is a picture from last summer of a hollow one. It's been a bear's nest and now it's a minor tourist attraction.
>>59225494
It's pretty, that's enough for me
This was in Greece
>>59225549
nice
These are Isräfflor
they were formed by the glacial ice grinding against the rock and making it very soft on the surface, a lot of swedish beaches to the sea and the lakes are like this.
Storforsen – a really cool and big rapid in Sweden.
There're any number of Cyberpunk spots in Japan...
Comfy little islands, thousands of them.
>>59225619

>>59225619
we have them too iirc

Would anyone be interested in some pics I took in Indonesia?
>>59225275
The food is great, although all cuisine in Central Asia is more or less identical. Don't expect a lot of diversity when traveling from country to country.
Some of the most popular dishes are plov (fried rice with beef and vegetables), lagman (thick noodles in a meat soup - my personal favorite), beshbarmak (noodles with meat and meat sauce, pic related), manti (fried dumplings), shashlik (skewered, spiced meat) and lepyoshka (spiced bread).
As you can tell, Central Asian food is mostly meat, noodles and bread. All of it's delicious and, like everything else, super cheap. A full meal at the average restaurant in the capital city will run you around 4-5 euros. Outside, you can find food for much cheaper.
>>59225641
They're mostly uninhabited. My summer place is on an island in the archipelago sea, it's nice to have a landmass all to yourself even if it's tiny.
Azure window and blue hole in Malta.
eyafjallajökull during its 2010 eruption
Pic related, Bonnie Doon. Me and my family have a holiday house down their, it's beautiful just beautiful. You'll never experience true serenity until you go down to Bonnie Doon.
>>59225790
There's nothing more comfy than giant power masts.
>>59225275
The capital, Bishkek, is where you'll probably stop first. It's the only city in the country that can really be described as developed. There are tons of nearby mountain ranges to visit, such as Ala Archa, Song Kol and many more. I lived there for 5 months and never got to visit all of them. If you like mountain climbing, there's plenty to do.
In the South, you can visit Osh, the second largest city (which is really just a glorified village imo). Once again, there are plenty of gorgeous mountains just outside the city limits (pic related), but these are much more arid and rocky. There are also a number of significant mosques in the area, if you're into that shit.
In the East, there's the Issyk Kul lake, which is never particularly warm. I never visited it, but I've heard it's beautiful.
I think that covers everything. Hopefully you haven't bounced by now. Let me know if you have any more questions.

A bit different this time, taken in the slums of Kota, Jakarta. Around 30 people live under this bridge, including children. There were makeshift houses here, but they were demolished by the local government a few weeks before my visit.
>>59226028
What about caves?
This is the "grotta del gigante" near Trieste, the largest tourist cave in the world 99x168x76 meters
>>59226135
Slums in the are of Kota known as "fish market" the entire slum is built atop stilts in the bay of Jakarta
>>59222807
A Hydro electric waterfall?
>>59223245
If you are loaded with cash perhaps.
>>59226213
My mistake, this portion is firmly on land, I can't find the pictures I took of the stilt section. Another pic, again in Kota, Jakarta. The makeshift homes pictured actually lead down to a long, dark access tunell with an open sewer running through. Inside are numerous cells in which families live. I remember seeing a man sat in the doorway of one, playing clash of clans on his smartphone, inches away from raw sewage.
Great place if you wanna get lost and die, or eaten by wolves.
>>59224117
it is. basically the deal is, loads of norwegian vikings en route to iceland made a pit stop in ireland to pick up some shit. among other things, they brought irish women with them.
