I'm in university right now but I would like to end up working in entertainment law after law school. It feels like everyone is involved in the industry somehow. Most of the people I know who are in the industry work in post production though (film editing, sound mixing, etc.)

Hollywood, like most of L.A, is filled with three types of people: tourists, Mexicans, and weirdo, hipster types because there's a few underground art galleries around.
The strip is very touristy, but gets pretty crazy around Halloween time since all the freaks come out.
Rodeo Dr is expensive, but not so much glamorous. Its like an expensive mall for semi-rich wannabes. There are other areas however that are like what Rodeo Dr use to be, but you don't really hear much about them. Those are the places where you see movie stars and where the streets are lined up with Ferraris and high-end Mercs.
Its a great city, L.A. Fuck the traffic, though.
