So /int/, this is my first time posting on a blue board, so I may seem like an asshole, sorry if that bothers you.
My question is: why do Japanese speak shit english (most of 'em) ?
This anime I was watching has 9 main characters, and only 1 of 'em speaks english well.
Others speak like close to none, or there's some grammatical errors.
Sure, it could be intentional, but even outside of anime, it's been like that whenever I've seen Japanese people talk english.
Cheers !
Because Japanese and English have next to no grammatical or sentence structure similarities.

well this is the case with Finnish and English as well, but still, majority of Finns speak english, at least in a Hydraulic Press Channel way.

japanese and english are completely different
what would be easier for you to take up, estonian or mandarin?
Also, Japanese posters are really wanted, since you guys have this "hard work" culture, yet still don't learn english.

I really don't know, I mean, mandarin sure is fucking hard to write, but mandarin speakers could write latin letters. Also, mandarin has this thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandarin_Chinese#Phonology

Can't you overcome the language barrier without speaking the language?
You are still immature.

ironically enough, I don't understand what you meant by that comment

>well this is the case with Finnish and English as well
That's not true at all though. There are more similarities in the grammar of English and Finnish than between English and Japanese.
You can't put even basic Japanese sentences into google translate without it coming out as complete jibberish.

I don't understand what's funny about that, I genuinely just browse /b/, /pol/ and /d/

They do that so that their Japanese viewers can keep up with their limited knowledge of the language.

I said the following, burgerclap:
