Portufag here, I used to party a lot in Portugal and hang out with friends.
The last 5 years I spend studying there I secluded myself completely to finish my Masters and get a job somewhere outside of Portugal.
I would go out sometimes and meet up with my bros in our usual bar, but wouldn't stay there till over 23:00 or go to clubs/parties with them like I used to.
Long story short, got a well paid job as a Team Leader of a PCS Software Dev Team, got married with the girl I've been dating for 7 years and that lived with me during that secluded time...but have no friends here.
Heh, I like staying home instead of meeting new people, I go outside and Travel with her a lot, but I'd be lying if I said that I don't miss my friends and the fun I had with them.
At least we still talk through social media and VOIP clients while we play videogames.
They seem to care since they always want me around when I come back for vacations.
Maybe I should try a bit harder, I know that this kind of lifestyle is going to bite me in the ass one day.
