What foreign language should I concentrate on?
I have a foundation in French and German and can read articles, forum posts, etc in both to varying degrees but my understanding is not perfect and my speech is halting. Years later it looks like France and Germany aren't going to exist in the next decade so I guess I wasted my time and energy? I liked German in particular so seeing it fall apart is pretty hard to take.
Anyway, my original question still remains. I'm finding it hard to commit to anything, I guess I'll never make any meaningful progress but hey that's life.
