The way Venezuela works for example is they go to Brazil and buy a loaf of bread for $30 using oil money, the Loaf of Bread actually costs $10, so what happened to that $20? Hint check Panama then they give it to a business for $5 and FORCE businesses to sell it in the Venezuela for $2 which means the business will be forced to sell it at a $3 loss, in Colombia though, a loaf of bred costs $15, so business owners being smart, get these $5 loaves of bread, and sell them in Colombia for $10 (hence why you get entire months supplies of goods ending up in Colombia while stores are empty in Venezuela).
This is one of the major reasons Venezuela is so fucked, the entire Government is legitimately just making up economic policy to enable widespread siphoning of wealth into their own private bank accounts and this mass scam worked as long as they had oil money to do it.
Then Saudi Arabia crashed the global oil prices to destroy Russia, Iran, Venezuela and Shale Oil industry.

This is wrong on too many levels man. Venezuela only produces oil. Also, goods are no longer being smuggled into colombia at the same rate because the border is permanently closed as we speak and it's being like that for 8 months now.
Having said that, you can come to clombia and you'll be hard pressed to find anything made in venezuela excepting perhaps gasoline, which they still smuggle and can find in border towns, but not in the interior of the country.
