Depends how big it is. I mean, spiders don't get particularly large in Norway, so it's really not a big deal. I have a spiderbro in my room right now, and he removes every other fucking annoying bug that comes into my room.

We have three kinds of spiders you see fairly often here.
Hay wagons (opiliones / harvestmen). Which are tiny dots with long legs.
House spiders (barn funnel weaver), that run really fast and hide from humans.
And cross spiders (European garden spider / crowned orb weaver) with a cross on their back. They make webs outside your house and then you walk through their web with your face.

That's some hippie bullshit but I gotta admit keeping a few spiders helps with the bug problems. I used to get a fuckton of bugs near by toilet, then a spider moved nearby and it improved significantly.
