I've noticed that americans tend to think differently of other countries that are in Europe, than Europeans and a lot of other countries do.
Like for example my country, Denmark. And american would be like "muh, Bernie's dream-paradice-socialist-utopia..." while everyone else either just think of rude people or coldhearted people (both are mainly because we do not express emotions openly to strangers. We feel generally uncomfortable if someone seems glad to see us, without even knowing us...)
