The fact that this man has no chance of being president while Trump and Hillary lie and buy their way to the top and will most definitely win the primaries.

There's only one real thing I legitimately hate about this place and it's the fact that the "the American bubble" is a very real thing and it's a very negative thing. Ignorance is bred, seemingly on purpose, and most people (at least in my region) are very uncouth and of dulled wits. Television here will aggressively make you stupid so even that's not worth watching any more. It's a major, major negative of living here but it's the only one I actually have so I suppose it balances out.
>>
I don't dislike Donald Trump, but I dislike the 100 million morons who masturbate to his every retarded, unsubstantiated words.
>>
How politicians that campaign on reasonable policies and can discuss the pros and cons of their proposals and the alternatives never get elected, while reality TV stars are the most popular candidates. Fuck this, "we'll have a ten percent flat tax rate and increase military spending and your social security will be just fine :DDD" bullshit. So far all of our candidates either way to cut tax revenue way more than cutting spending (Trump and Cruz), or keep the status quo (Hillary), or increase spending and taxes on shit most people don't want (Bernie). All of them pander to the lowest common denominator of their respective groups.

Oh, and that non medical circumcision is still for minors that can't consent. And all the subsidies for agriculture that make unhealthy foods cheaper, combined with companies lobbying to have junk food covered by food stamps.

Willful, dogmatic and deliberate ignorance with real consequences. The climate change debate is over. The evolution debate is over. The vaccine debate is over. Yet we still have people who insist that their dogma is just as valid as science because they have a right to believe any old horseshit that falls off the truck. We don't marginalize them like we should, and some politicians outright pander to them for votes.

You clearly still don't understand just how absurd many Americans can get over their religions.
>getting buttflustered that we don't have some inefficient garbage socialist healthcare system
Hahahahahaha. Grass is always greener on the other side I guess, the sad fact is that healthcare prices in the US are retardedly high even for healthcare that can be just as shit as "garbage socialist healthcare systems" get in Europe.
>getting buttflustered that people don't devote precious time to learning foreign languages that they'll never use
That's bullshit, knowing more than more than one language can always be usefull, even if it's just the basics. Knowing Spanish can be incredibly useful in the US.
>" crime rate even without minorities almost double Europe's" which isn't even fucking true
Yeah it is. Prove me wrong.
>garbage about wealth gaps
As I said before, it's anything but garbage.

If crime levels weren't so high then prison populations wouldn't be so full. The prisoners in America account for a massive expense of American tax money.

Certainly. Americans here tend to worship the healthcare systems of Europe without actually knowing anything about their drawbacks and the problems they have though.
>Little Spanish couldn't hurt m8..
Learning a foreign language is good but it's utterly pretentious to judge people for not, especially when they live in a country where there is a very small chance it will ever be needed.
>Why would you ever take a stat like crime rate, or perhaps especially that one, and remove minorities from it?
Because it shows what is causing crime problems.

'Free' healthcare is a meme though, don't get me wrong.

>especially when they live in a country where there is a very small chance it will ever be needed.

The hilarious part is that some Americans actually seen to anticipate never ever leaving the country. Which seems weird to many of us in itself...
>It means we're catching our criminals.

It also means they're apparantly repeat offending, or your population disproportionatly turn to crime. That would be a problem, not even to mention to amounts of money the it costs to run the penitentiaries, the courts, law enforcement etc etc..
>>
>>58772969
Well the native americans nor the first settlers were really immigrants, immigration is migrating from one nation to another, and there was no actual country when either got there.
Nice meme though, 9/11 for cleverness.
>>
1. We're too large and diverse. Not that diversity is bad, but because of the vast amounts of geographic and demographic variety we cover, it's nearly impossible to create any semblance of unity.

2. War on drugs. I can understand to some degree things like Meth and Heroin, but honestly if someone wants to partake in something that only harms their own body, why the fuck should we protect their retarded ass and have them continue to perpetuate drug violence and take up more space and taxpayer money in the prison system.

3. Ignorance. I'm not sure what did it, but there's no desire to learn or care for anything outside people's own individual lives. This is something I could see having been a constant thing though, people are often selfish no matter what time period you're in.

4. Obesity bothers me, but again people have the right to eat whatever they want. What would bother me is if my tax money is going to have to end up going for Robbie McLardass's fifth quadruple bypass.

5. The amount of fuckery we engage in internationally, especially the middle east. Civil wars especially should be left to the country itself to figure out. At this point we can't really easily or quickly scale down military without the rest of Europe/NATO being left with their asses hanging out, but it would be nice to see less emphasis on defense companies profiting off of corrupt political influence (looking at you, L-M)

Wow, guess you're right, before I just thought that was was because of the economic prosperity and social stability of the region, but no it's because they're white of course! Look at rednecks, many of which live in poverty and they're all such upstanding members of society!

>>

>The hilarious part is that some Americans actually seen to anticipate never ever leaving the country. Which seems weird to many of us in itself...
Most don't. I came here for uni because I like the way it's set up here better than in America and because I lived in Europe for much of my childhood anyway, but most Americans don't have the means to travel to Europe.

Also, I've been to your country many times, and even if I tried to learn Dutch I wouldn't be able to use it anyway because everybody would just switch to English, you're basically native speakers. It's like that pretty much everywhere in Western Europe, although I do speak German at an elementary level because I lived in Austria.

Some, especially regional. The SGP (most fundie-tier Christian party we have) has 1(one)/150 seats in parliament. A seat is worth about 60.000 votes.. It wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't know they were heavily subsidised and are not actually a self sustaining and durable solution in the practical sense... Not to mention they rely on back up fossil-fed power plants for when wind is down, which in the Netherlands means good old coal. Y-yay for the environment g-guys.. If they were actually worth a damn the North Sea would be lined with them already, much more than is currently the case. Currently they're just a means of gathering prestige and subsidies for Green-minded politicians and pressure groups (bonus points if the politicians husband has a bulding company specialising in windmills), which is also the reason they're not in logical places like the fucking sea, but in quaint little left-leaning municipalities scattered across the land..

shit argument
most of our 'exports' to mexico are simply things being exported there for assembly(of which these are jobs which were outsourced from USA) then brought back to US to be sold. This made up 61% of our entire Mexican exports in 2006.
We've lost over 700,000 jobs to Mexico due to NAFTA.
http://www.epi.org/publication/heading_south_u-s-mexico_trade_and_job_displacement_after_nafta1/

>>

>>

That's not a problem with outsourcing, it's a problem with niggers. You could bring every last job stitching sneakers back from China tomorrow and Deshaun is still going to be robbing the corner 7-11 because he's a nigger.

The only way to get niggers to work is with slave chains and a whip and unfortunately we got rid of that in 1865.

I suspect the reason for this is that we're not a homogenous society like Finland. American culture is also too individualistic compared to Scandinavia.

The population and its relationship to the political landscape is the big one.

The average citizen is completely uninformed and uncritical of their self, yet utterly dismissive of others. It makes it impossible to have an actual fucking dialogue about real issues because everyone is too busy cheering for their 'team' (with who they share less than they think) and disparaging the other 'team' (who they probably share more with than they think) coupled with an apetite for distraction has killed me inside.

Why can't the states just run European-style public health programs, actually? Pretty sure it's unconstitutional for the fed to be running healthcare for the entire country anyway. It would also mean states that don't want it don't have to do it.
