Guys I'm starting to panic, machines are starting to take over our jobs and it's becoming very noticeable. Just today, I went to Mcdonalds and there were kiosks. Self driving cars and trucks are starting to be introduced as well. What will the future hold for us?

Things can go one of two ways.
With mass lower and middle class layoffs, only the upper class can afford their own products, and the world basically becomes Brazil, except with even more of a class divide, a lot less class mobility, and more physical segregation.
Or, governments will take the initiative and institute things like universal basic income, and job re-training, and we'll see an era of prosperity never seen before, with the greater majority of the world having their needs taken care of automatically, and most people working towards creative and intellectual pursuits.

Time to tax machines and live the comfy NEET life.
