The best breweries here are local. In my little town in Bumblefuck Bavaria we have 6 different breweries and each one of them blows mass produce out of the water.

I guess the most popular beers do for the most part. Our most popular beers are basically a cross between a real ale and a lager. We don't have the subsidies, etc. or the complete lack of restraint that lead the yanks to make beer with rice or corn or pumpkin spice or whatever the shit.

Kulmbacher ist eines der besten Pilsner die ich je getrunken habe. Imho ein gutes Stück besser als Pilsner oder Budweiser.
Aber versteh mich nicht falsch, deren Bier ist schon gut. Fahre regelmäßig da rüber für ein Bier Wochenende. Ist nur insgesamt ein ziemliches hartes Meme das deren Bier das beste der Welt ist. Die haben die selbe Situation wie wir: die großen wie Pilsner sind eher mittelmäßig wobei es viele gute kleinere Brauerein gibt.
