I remember meeting a half French, half Icelandic guy when I was in London.
I hung out with him for, like, six months, but just because we were introduced to each others in English and took a good week or two to realize we were both French, we were never able to make the switch to French in conversations. It was weird.
We would listen to skits in French on my ipod, and then talk about them in English.

That's hilarious. I live in San Diego and there are some Swedes in my university and they all speak English in a southern California accent, but you can still tell that they're foreign. The girls are easy as hell too.

The Scandinavians are a race who have prospered almost entirely in spite of their own racial qualities, rather than because of them.

That the Swedes, Norwegians, Danes etc are inferior races is certainly clear, but to compare them to African civilizations is also deeply unfair.
I say this because, denied cultural dialogue with the rest of the world, peoples like the Edo constructed works that rivaled or exceeded the constructions of any other civilization on Earth, including a set of fortresses and earthworks larger than the Great Wall of China.
