Why does Canada still exist?
I live here and it's basically america.

Gather up your fellow non-Canadians for a coup after which you donate Canada's land to America
>>58210945
I am Canadian.
>>58210991
Riight, but you don't want to be
Why does Moldova exist? Why does Austria exist? Why does Ex-yugo states exist? Why are Scandinavians not one country? etc
This world needs a lot of anschluss
Can confirm.
If the US annexed us overnight, I doubt anybody would notice.

>basically america.
Nope, America is basically Africa. You are the same as Australia.
>>58211354
Russians want to be part of Russia, obviously
When I was a kid, I was angry that Canada wasn't just part of America because everything noteworthy seemed to happen there and I felt our cultures were too similar to warrant separate countries anyway.
That was probably the first political thought I ever had.
>>58211386
Seriously?
>>58211263
50-something red maple leaves instead of stars, duh.
>>58211263
Keep the flag as it is now, but add like 13 leaves.
>>58211263
Betsy Ross flag with the stars surrounding A FUCKING LEAF
>>58211458
I was like six or seven years old.
>>58211458
We are very similar. If you don't know US/Canadian history it does seem a bit arbitrary.
>>58211536
Funny thing, and this isn't bants, I'm being serious. One of the earliest things I can really, clearly remember from my childhood was, I think when I might've been like six or seven years old, crying because my cousin and uncle called me a Canuck because I lived in Minnesota. I don't know why that offended me so much but it did.
I want to become american.

Yeah, it just seems a bit weird to me for a kid to be thinking that about his country. Probably because I don't live near any borders
