Meme answer: gommunism
Serious answer: Their oil is really expensive to extract and really low quality. So it cannot compete with middle east one efficiently, when the middle east is running out. Venezuela will be great again

>Their oil is really expensive to extract and really low quality
This fucking lie again... I already debunked it weeks ago on /esp/. The problem about Venezuela´s oil extraction is the inefficiency and corruption that is present in PDVSA. In 2002-2003 the workers of that company started a strike and Chavez kicked the 20000 that participated in it (most of the workers) and he replaced them with 100000 "workers" (people from his party without any clue about oil extraction), this led to have 3 times more costs in personal, inefficiency on extraction since few people had no clue at all and also the fact that they subsidize petrol on the country, you can get it nearly for free. Chavez and Maduro have spent millions and millions on making Petrol cheap for its citizens. Their oil economy is a total failure since it was politicized to death, all the factors I have explained are the reasons of why the "oil extraction is expensive", which it would not if all the chavezretardery was removed

I also forgot the ammount of millions he invested (lost) in Petrocaribe and the millions of barrels of oil that they exchange for doctors with Cuba, which is not worth it
