now stand back /int/ as i reveal the most overwhelmingly american thing you have ever seen. it is called a garbage plate. it is native to my hometown. normally served with two burgers (or two hot dogs in pic related) placed atop mac salad (extra mayo), and twice fried homefries, it is then doused in our special meat hot sauce, ketchup, and mustard. there are as many variations as there are assholes in america, but generally it is looked down upon to choose anything that is not extremely high in cholesterol.
it is also customarily served in a non bio-degradable styrofoam container, with plastic fork and knife, whether or not you are getting it to go, or eating it at the burger joint.
i once ate two in one sitting after not eating for approximately 2 days. i was unable to eat again for two days afterwards, but have since made a full recovery.
