When I was in college I had a really good Black friend who used to tell me hilarious stories about his racist teachers all the time. My favorite was about how when he had a school assembly and everyone was performing some performance, his racist female teacher would stop him from clapping telling him not to clap because he doesn't understand why he's clapping and then she would proceed to clap.
It really must suck having to grow up like that.

If someone speaks black English it's not incorrect, unless the professor would do the same for people writing in Vernacular of say Cockney I could see it being an ignorant old white dude who follows the "HURHUR BLACKS DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH CORRECTLY"

wtf when is this from? I thought the old dude was running for president?

i would remind these absurdist SJW's that there are plenty of countries (many of them black countries in the caribbean) where, despite english being the official language, pidgin is spoken (often unintelligible to standard english). still, these people hold themselves to the guidelines of standardized english in academic and official settings.

Intelligent humour and underrated post

I agree that AAVE isn't incorrect, but that's (presumably) an institution that deals only in Standard English.
If I were asked to write a paper for a formal entity and I do it in Egyptian Arabic I'm either joking or literally fucking asking for it despite my opinions on the validity of my dialect.
