There's no real difference for eggs that you will eat before 2 weeks if you dont live in a extremely warm place.
But in warm places the fridge is better. Cold eggs suck in general if you plan to make your own pasta or for baking, but if you want to do any of those just buy and use aggs anyway. Brits just like their eggs wamrs and act retarded when you try to use logic with them
