I don't think most nationalists legitimately hate people of other races outside memes. The idea is that countries are for the people from that country. People from other countries aren't necessarily worse, they just have their own country.

race and ancestral "purity" has meant virtually everything to nationalism since at least the mid-19th century and the two concepts are inseparable even in nationalist movements and groups who try to distance themselves from the ideas of hitler and people like houston chamberlain. if as nationalists they didn't actually believe at all in the concept of distinct "races" or think that the mere presence of even one black person in a "white" country constituted a grave threat to "homogeneity" and that he needs to go back to his mud hut because he's an inferior unintelligent ape with his own homeland etc. if the racist memes were used purely for ironic and humorous purposes and not to make a genuine political statement advocating 19th century racialist concepts, they wouldn't be in such widespread use to begin with.
there are different types and some are just funny caricatures, stereotypes, or satire which doesn't necessarily indicate anything other than stupid funny shit for the sake of stupid funny shit, but others you really can't make use of without either trying to express genuine agreement with the political and social views being advocated, or without highlighting it as an example of overhyped propaganda that only an autistic child would take dead seriously.
