Wait times are tracked by the province and are only 'atrocious' for hip and knee surgeries because they get put on state disability while they wait. Canadians have similar and in many cases shorter wait times than your average American worker. Nobody disputes that if you have an unlimited bankroll private healthcare is the best but again we're talking about your average 100k/yr family.

I checked against two new york hospitals across the border and we have them beat in almost everything but ER walk ins. Plus I only pay $60/mo in taxes for my family and have full coverage with no bullshit.
