Very interesting. You know, I wonder for a long time how we are going to de-Islamify the entirety of South Asia, it's a thought I agonize over a lot.

What's interesting is that the parallels in Pushtunwali and the concept of "Just War" in the Bhagvad Gita.

Also, I was reading about how the Taliban derived a lot of its support from the effort it made to eradicate Bacha baz. It put that whole conflict into a morally grey light all of a sudden

I wanted an indian thread to ask this, but there is none so I'll ask here since it also concerns people from the UAE, Pakistan and India.

Why are your people so retarded on the internet?
I don't mean retarded in the sense you'd use to insult someone on 4chan.
I mean that talking with someone from your countries feels like I'm speaking with a socially stunted child with third-grade english skills.

I make money on the side by pretending to be a girl online and scamming people out of money, but while with normal western countries it's usually a challenge, and the best I usually get is an amazon gift card, with people from these countries it's a completely different deal.

First of all, they will all ask me if I'm married. I'm typically a 18yo-ish girl, and that's always one of the first questions.
THEN THEY WILL ASK ME TO MARRY THEM.
FIVE MINUTES INTO THE CHAT.
They're joking, you say?
Would a person who's joking dump hundreds of dollars into my mirror funds so that I can buy a plane ticket to see my future hubby?
But aside that, the chat itself feels eerie in a way I can't describe. They ask the most innocent of questions, if I like knitting and cooking, they show me pictures of their city landmarks, and, most creepily THEY ALL SPEAK WITH THE SAME PHRASES.

These are countries that are quite far from one another, different languages, and different cultures.
Why do they all have the same "How to marry girls on the internet" phrasary?
Why do sandniggers all try to kidnap/marry people off internet chats? Fuck, I'm so weirded out yet thankful that these people exist to fuel my addiction for easy money.

You are exposing people who have lived within a traditionalist societal framework via digital telecommunications to a post-industrial, post-sexual revolution society, hence the clash of values.

Were these people to communicate in messages to say, Victorian-era or even better, pre-French Revolution you, then you could bet the responses would be a lot different.

You gotta understand that in pre-sexual revolution societies, including yours at one stage, human courtship was not a goal in itself but a precursor and building block for the family unit - which was the ultimate "end-goal" so to speak.

Hence, the contractual obligations and approach to relationships, and hence the "innocent" questions which are unknowingly gauging femininity and maternal instincts in the women.

Make sense senpai?

>THEN THEY WILL ASK ME TO MARRY THEM
I don't know about India but in Pakistan the whole "gf" thing doesn't really work. Punjabis and some
modern Pashtuns have gfs but it's really looked down upon. The only relation you can have with
a girl is marriage. So "marry me pls :3" in that context translates to "can you be my gf?"

This question has been gnawing at me for ages, and I can't understand.

I'm not an idiot, I know like >>58038927 said that a lot of them are after the green card, but what I'm more concerned about is the rest.

The emotional immaturity, the copy and paste phrases, the exact same M.O. from so many different people across countries.
If I didn't have proof that they were different people due to the different bank accounts used, I would have thought I was being trolled by a millionaire with a lot of time to waste.

It's ALWAYS people from India, UAE or Pakistan.
ALWAYS going for the marriage online.

You didn't answer how they manage to all have the same exact phrasary.

It's categorized by country, and even their broken questions are always broken in EXACTLY THE SAME WAY.
That's why I thought I was being counter-trolled by the same person posing as multiple ones. It's one thing to have bad english, it's different when you give me the same phrase that could've been copypasted from one chat to another, only it happens more than a dozen times.

Do these underdeveloped countries have seminaries on how to do this shit?
Do they have a government approved set of phrases they study before setting off on their online hunt for white girls?

only as an introspective sort of exploration, not as anything tangible or dedicatedly final. I still don't know what to believe, so don't put me in a box just yet

>know that it's right to have them and believe in them
Same is true of non-religious people, it is clear to see that cooperation, kindness, purpose, empathy and such values promote a happier, more cohesive society for all. People might not be as explicit about it, but most people still subscribe and adhere to this, without the aide of eternal promises after death. I'm not saying that being religious is bad or good, if it helps you be a good person great. I think schools, parents, communities and legal systems (and religions for some people) do a good job of diffusing that idea.

However when you said it was a shame that I knew more about christianity than my friend, why? Is he or other people like him bad people who are ultimately lacking of such qualities, because they can't recite the general story of the gospels as well as me? That's quite presumptious.

>Same, but then what
It doesn't finish, there will always be new challenges and new opportunities, that is the beauty of human intelligence.

Economics is my primary concern because its what i study, but it also gives us something tangible to work with and aim for. Intangible things also matter for well-being (and even the economy) and are part of well-being, but they veer off into more subjective realms, where the argument becomes tainted if people don't necessarily hold the same value. For example I might value 'live and let live' over 'stamp out all degeneracy', both have a myriad of societal implications nad its very hard to really conclude who has the last word on them.

I don't know what to say
I just get a random girl from the internet, use it as my profile pic on a chat site (not dating site, a simple chat one) then wait.
Within the first 10 minutes I'll have around 50 people messaging me, and out of those about 6-7 are viable.

Then you chat, you respond while being detached and never too interested (easy to do when you're juggling 7 people at once), then when they inevitably ask for pics or cam (because boys are retarded and won't even notice you're fake) you say you don't have a mean to take those picture.

That's when they'll say you need a cam.
At that point you can just construct a reason why you don't have the money to do that, and they'll usually offer to buy it for you.
Bam, amazon gift card.
You can either use it or sell it online for clean untraceable cash.

What did he mean by this?
>>
>>58042165
Mmm.
>>
>>58042258
>What did he mean by this?

This “chaupai” (quatrains) is cited in Sundarkand where Lord Rama is requesting with the vast and mighty sea for a pass-through to Ravana's Lanka. This is probably the most misunderstood “chaupai” of Goswami Tulsidas Ji (1532-1623). The word “ताड़ना” might mean “तारना” or “ताडयेत्” or simply “ताड़ना”. Never a single word has caused such damage to someones reputation as it has done to Tulsidas Ji's.

Depending upon the choice of the meaning of the word “ताड़ना” entire context of the sentence changes. Lets establish how?

If we choose the meaning to be “तारना”, then the meaning of the "chaupai" translates beautifully to:

A Drum, an Illiterate, Poor people (I would not interpret it as Dalit’s), Animals and Women all have the rights to be uplifted.

Considering the ills of society in 15th century it seems apt that Tulsidas ji comapared women with poor people, animals, drum and illiterates, as all of them did not have say over their wishes and destiny. But lot of the modern people would not be happy with Tulsidas ji’s example, but we should keep in mind that the society in 15th century was not what we see today and woman did not have same rights as man

To indianbros here, when will the hate between pakis and indians end?
I don't see a reason for it. How is it in India?

I'll tell you how's it in Pakistan. The India vs Pak match was the most anticipated
match. Everyone was waiting for it and even people who didn't watch cricket
watched it. Pakistan lost that and everyone was disappointed and that was okay.

But what really triggered me the most was people celebrating when India lost the
semi final. What's the fucking point? Pakistan is out of the series and that's the
end of story. You would be surprised how many pakis watched that match just to
see India lose.

Is it our governments making us hate each other?

>not as anything tangible or dedicatedly final. I still don't know what to believe

That's kind of what I mean. How can a civilization survive with such precarious foundations? What do you stand for? What does your country stand for? What's the point of having a country that doesn't collectively stand for something?

>Same is true of non-religious people

That's not all. How do you keep men and women loyal to one another? How do you keep your daughter or son from becoming a whore? How do you keep families going?

> People might not be as explicit about it, but most people still subscribe and adhere to this

Because of the remnants of religion, and honestly I don't see most people still adhering to those virtues. Greed and hedonism are the only "ideals" I see the youth of today adhering to.

>However when you said it was a shame that I knew more about christianity than my friend, why?

Because he doesn't know about himself, his ancestors, what they believed in, what they lived and died for, what they created for him, etc, but a foreigner like you kind of does. That's sad to me.

No, I'm not calling anyone bad. I see everyone as above me.

>It doesn't finish, there will always be new challenges and new opportunities

That's not what I mean. There will always be new challenges, but civilization needs a common soul, energy, or vigor in them to tackle them.
>>
>>58043108
>To indianbros here, when will the hate between pakis and indians end?

Never, the raison d'etre for Pakistan to exist prevents any sort of reconciliation.

Honestly speaking, it will end after a limited nuclear exchange occurs and India loses probably one city at the least, Pakistan more.

It's not unfathomable to predict a scenario where India has to undertake COLD START and Pakistan responds with tactical nukes to counter Indian conventional superiority or a dirty bomb is let off in a major metro area.

Frankly, I think its just a matter of time.

If by some way this is avoiding in the next 30 years, there may be hope for economic and cultural assimilation.

Realistically though, we are heading for Partition 2 electric boogaloo

To answer your question about Indians view on Pakistan:

I find that most (maybe only North Indians cause not friends with Southies) have a deep passionate hatred from Pakistan. They feel that muslims blindsided them in the 11th hour and broke their mother India. It's a deep sense of betrayal that leads to hatred of Pakistan.

>How can a civilization survive with such precarious foundations?
as in free-thought and being open to questioning everything? idk pham, but trust me free-thought doesn't necessarily entail nihilstic apocalypse.
>What do you stand for
personally i like the idea of 3 fundamental rights being innate to all people as a means of preservation to life (in the most basic sense).

I think I stand for those rights, liberty, property and life. I also think for societies sake its good to benevolent and compassionate, I genuinely get joy from that sort of stuff. I also suspect there is some merit in not getting bogged down too much in trivial attachments, I'm not fully convinced but its a nice idea and I try to adhere to it.
>country
source of power for its elites as far as i can tell
>country that doesn't stand for something
Countries aren't perfect, I'm not too attached to them either, I'd hope that countries can provide law and order, that helps with preservation of life and society.

>How do you keep man and women loyal to one another?
Many non-religious people are aware that raising children without both parents is ruinous to the outcomes of the children and stay together for that. Also the way the cookie crumbles with divorce or life after divorce can be a big disincentive to breaking up arbitrarily. But ultimately its their choice.

>How do you keep your daughter or son from becoming a whore
Once again, many non-religious people are perfectly capable of convincing their children to become prostitutes, because its a dangerous profession, its look down upon and may have negative impacts of their lives. Its a bit of a slippery slope argument to suggest that this stuff is near imposible without church.

>How do you keep families going?

Really? Doesn't really happen here. 2 income household seems to be the norm in their family arrangements, dont know how it is with kids.

It's strange, I'm an outsider in their community but they are pretty friendly nonetheless. Problem is, I find their life for me personally depressing.

Follows the route

>Get your degree
>Get a wife/husband arranged

I disagree, I think morality and values are not contigent on metaphysics or religion, I think people can be perfectly benevolent without thikning there is going to be a final reward waiting for them. Humans are a social animal, we don't have any adaptations that help us survive besides our intelligence and that we can cooperate and live together. The latter is contigent on values, norms and morals.
>greed and hedonism
Pessimism, but I don't think most people are remotely malevolent. I feel as though many people in the world want to see a better world. Some people are greedy and some people are hedonistic, but provided they aren't directly hurting anyone, then so be it.

Pashtun food is really great & delicious. Though I am from the KP province I work in Punjab (Rawalpindi) and for me the hardest thing here is the food. I have been to like 20 different restaurants and none of the serve what you consider food.

Most of the time it's burgers, pizzas and the like which I really hate. I mean it's okay to have it occasionally but not something you can eat every day.
Other restaurants have the punjabi pulao which is the shitty version of pashtun pulao.

Lmao, but I have? My grandparents lived with us for the longest time, and it was great. Sure the in-laws fight here and there, but overall Indian families have a tighter bond than most; at least thats the whole point of arranged marriages and keeping family ties strong.

This system is actually the traditional way for us in most places in India. Maybe in USSR it was out of financial or other need; of course people will resent being forced to live a way they do not like. But for us it is fine.

My friend likes highland park. He prefers talisker though. I liked ardbeg. Nice and peppery.

If you go american whisky, you get more bang for your buck since it's local stuff.

Elijag craig, old granddad bottled in bond, even evan williams or jim beam are good.
>>

Where ever they have eyebrow threading. Usually in a strip mall or near the ghetto.

T H I C C eyebrows here too, what do I tell the barber? Just fuck my shit up?
>>
>>58048526
Yeah, Nair. I also love Kerala temples. Not super elaborate like everywhere else but they're comfy and have pools. Unfortunately you have to take your shirt off when entering which can get annoying real quick if your family wants to visit 3 or 4 temples.

You are Zoroastrian right? You guys have temples?
>>
>>58048895

Worth what? I need something to compare against.

Worth in terms of taste? Financial?
>>
Does anyone here know computer stuff?
My laptop display stopped working.

>T H I C C eyebrows here too, what do I tell the barber? Just fuck my shit up?

u have to go to a threading lady (unless barbershop says "Threading") n tell those niggas to clean it up.

>>58048895

How is your sister doing? Didnt she run off with a white guy?

Hook it up to a tv or another monitor.

Software issue or hardware?
>>
>>58048998

only a gujju would mention that xD
yeah, in terms of taste. what's a dish special to gujjuland that non-gujjus could enjoy?

>>58048954
>Yeah, Nair.
I've never met a Hindu mallu who wasn't a Nair or Brahmin now that I think of it.

Yeah your temples aren't as flashy but I really like them. Better food from what I've noticed than Andhra temples. Why is taking off your shirt annoying? Sunburn?

>You are Zoroastrian right?
yeap

>You guys have temples?
Well yeah, where did you think we worshiped?
>>
>>58049123
Yeah. It works on connecting to the TV via HDMI.
This has happened twice in the past, but it got resolved on its own.
Also, the hinges on the laptop are fucked, so I'm suspecting a hardware problem.
But the spontaneous resolution makes me think it's software related.

>I've never met a Hindu mallu who wasn't a Nair

That's cause Nairs are like Jatts.

Meaning low castes take the name for social mobility reasons
>>
>>58049376
batata nu shaak, chapatis, dal and rice is pretty staple and different to fuck up on. Some alu vadis or maybe dhoklas with mint chutney, on the side you're good to go
>>
>>58049376

Pretty much anything? Its all vegan stuff.

Uundhyu, Shrikhan, kadhi, Handvo to name a few.

>>58049380

Hopefully you got redpilled on never buying laptops. They have planned obsolescence. How old is it?

>spontaneous resolution

Try reinstalling the graphics driver
>>
>>58049550
>different
difficult*
>>
>>58049550
dal rice chapati isn't special to gujarat. Shaak is literally just sabzi + sugar. Disgusting.

> dhoklas
I would say these are delicious, but again you fucks put sugar on them.

>>58049563
Alright, you win. I forgot about how amazing Handvo is.
>>
>>58049563
>never buying laptops
Not possible.
>How old
4 years

>reinstalling the graphics driver
But it works absolutely fine when connected to the TV. Only the laptop screen doesn't show anything.
>>
>>58049764
eating nothing but dal rice and chapatis + vegetables and sugar is gujarati though.
>>
>>58048809
Bas yaar chal rahi hai gaadi. Tu bata kya scene hai? Kab ja raha hai sone?

>>58049550
What are some good gujjew desserts?
>>
>>58049790
Its the sugar that makes it a gujju thing. And putting sugar in dal is among the worst culinary ideas ever.

>>58049873
>What are some good gujjew desserts?
Dal, biryani, sabzi, egg curry, pakoda etc.
>>
>>58049764

>you win

Thanks m'lady. Yet another notch on my win an arguement on debate wall!!

>>58049771

Then what did you mean by spontaneous resolution? Its definitely a hardware issue. Your screen is fucked.

Do yourself a favour and build a desktop if possible.
>>
>>58049925

>dhokla with sugar

I've never seen this.
>>
>>58049949

>>58049949
Spontaneous resolution meaning I left the laptop alone for a day when the display got fucked the first time. It worked flawlessly on powering on the next day.
Another time same shit happened on starting up. I restarted it and it powered on correctly.
Basically this problem, if it occurs, occurs while starting up. Once switched on correctly it works without any problem.
