Which US state flag is the worst and why is it Montana?

I vote Colorado's. It's like a logo, you always remember what it stands for and it sticks out well while also being a hint for what state it represents with the C with the O inside.
Hawai'i should be kicked out of the Union until they get a flag without the country we went to war with to gain independence from on it.

Colorado's is nice in terms of design, and you're right about branding. The problem is, it's just that - a good logo. There's no real cultural depth to it. Colorado has a great flag, but I still think NM's is better.

I know it's a seal on navy bg but I love our flag. It shows a woman defeating the king even though we were named after a female "king". It also shows a boob even though we were Puritan. It's ironic and perfect and Sic semper tyrannis has a nice ring to it.
