Poland did not "intervene" in the Finnish Civil War. A few thousand ethnic Poles who had been in the imperial army stationed in Finland volunteered to fight for the Whites but Poland didn't have anything to do with that.
The White leadership actually declined the Poles (all the White leaders were Swedes and Germans and they were only OK with Germanic volunteers) but they fought some Reds anyway.

They were worried that Polish help in the Civil War would lead to Polish influence in Finland because of course they wanted Finland to be either a German puppet state (if they were more German than Swedish) or a Swedish puppet state (if they were more Swedish).
So they declined the Poles officially but they didn't protest when they started fighting and gave their weapons and gear to the Whites. Then they buggered off to fight the commies in Poland's wars.
