Yeah, but it is our own fault really. During the Eight Years' War we had all the power to take over the Southern Netherlands (that was under Spanish control), but we didn't because filthy Amsterdam merchants made too much money on the Antwerp blockade.
In the Congress of Vienna in 1815 we got our rightful land back, but those fucking Walloons rebelled and the Flemish cvcked themselfs under the Walloons. I'm not even kidding, they tried everything to wipe out the Flemish culture, they made Brussels French speaking and they didn't even get Dutch in school until 1967. All with no rebellions. I really kind of lost respect for the Flemish.
