Did you wear uniforms in your high school?
I ask because 99 percent of US schools have no uniform, simply "dress codes" that ensure girls don't come to school looking like complete whores.
The concept of a school uniform is a bit alien to me, but I think I would have liked it.

I went to a fancy grammar school with strict uniform rules, blazer, tie and slacks.

Went to private school all my life, K-12 all my schools had uniforms. K-8 was khakis and a school polo while 9-12 was jacket and tie. The schools were pretty based so the uniform didn't bother me, after the first couple weeks I grew to find a jacket and tie pretty comfy.

It was nice though, never really needing to pick out anything and they were relaxed so you could wear the uniform in ways you liked + with your own sweater/jumper so long as it looks good. under your shirt you could wear your tshirt and have your shirt unbuttoned etc. for the girls I really did like the uniforms though.

The only ones in my area that wore uniforms were private catholic schools. It never made any sense to me.
