Talking about it socially here, the people in southern Ontario (where I live) are generally nice. You have those few people who wish they were in a bigger city because there's nothing to do, or are just generally grumpy, but for the most part, I like the people. As for the culture, I wouldn't know too much about it except for that there is quite a bit of Asian culture displayed, as my city has a fair population of them.
