What is the best flag and why is it this one?
It's abstract, unique and immediately recognizable.
No silly drawings like leaves or animals, meaning it can't be easily be made fun of like Canada.
Not overly simple like Poland or any "three stripes" flag.
The only drawback I can think of is that it was kinda hard to draw it correctly in school.
