type the languages you speak, how fluent you are, which is your favorite, why did you learn those languages, and what's next for you?
for me:
Circassian - mother language
Hebrew - fluent, see flag
English - fluent, because I'm a civilized human (also favorite language)
Arabic - mediocre, because I am a muslim
I think I want to learn Dutch next. It is very similar to English and the Netherlands is a nice place.
>Svenska
Johan's mother tongue (currently working on a personal costumized accent)
>engelska
Great understanding, but since he rarely practice it, he sounds like a mongloid
>tyska
Read it in school. Have a very basic understanding and use it regularly for the lols
French : Mother language
English : I'm not really good in english but it's the foreign language I know the best.
German : A little bit, I want to learn it but it's too damn boring to learn.
finnish, swedish (although i pretend i don't if i ever run into a swede), english
i can understand estonian, norwegian, danish, german and french somewhat, at least in written form
>English
Fluent, also my favorite language and most preferred one
Learned through school, got reinforced by videogames and movies
>Swedish
Fluent(?) though I make some grammar mistakes
Was born in Sweden and raised among swedes, only natural to learn the language
>Arabic
Below average/mediocre
Scored an 18/100 on my grade 10 arabic final exam, that's when I completely gave up and changed education system to American

Italian: mother language
English: fluent speaker
Japanese: just the basics, never bothered to continue learning it because I'm not aiming at working in Japan anymore.
I'd like to learn Albanian because half of the people living in my town are bunkerfags, any tips from where to start?
One Albanian guy I know told me that it's a pretty hard language.

English: They forced me to learn it at school
>Portuguese
First language etc
>English
Second language. Fluent, striving for native level some day.
>French
Third language, got to an intermediate level where I could read and listen to anything in French and understand at least 90% of it. However I have been neglecting it for 3 years now and as a consequence my comprehension has dropped to babby levels.
>Japanese
It's a meme language for weebs. I've attempted to learn it countless times now and no matter how many times I give up I keep coming back to it, so there must be something to this language r-right? Actually I would probably be able to read pretty well if it weren't for kanji. Although it's easy to look them up, it makes reading way too slow and too much of a chore, which can be very demotivating.

WHAT'S HAPPENING
>>57868444
Do you struggle with English pronunciation? I hear that Russians struggle more with that than some Asians.
>>57868544
Your accents are funny to listen to when you speak English, please don't try and remove it.
>>57868907
Yes, a lot actually especially if the word is longer than 5 letters or/and has some "-tion" at the end.
>>57869575
Yeah English is weird now that I think about it, pronouncing "-tion" parts as "shun".
English: basically my mother tongue
Russian: my parents speak it but I stopped once I started going to school. I've been getting better at it in over the course of the past few years, though.
German: learned it in school and really loved it, but now that I'm done with school, my skills have been declining.
Hebrew: started trying to learn it a few days ago. I'm still learning the letters.
