Peanut butter and pickles. It shouldn't work, but it does.
The peanut butter is creamy, fatty, and sweet. The pickles are crunchy, vinegary, and salty.
For extra goodness, I like to add my favorite hot sauce.

This.
I have never heard of a peanut butter pickle sandwich. Like, are they sweet pickles or dill pickles?
I have a friend who swears by some weird shit. He makes a big deal about me dunking pizza crusts in my beverage and eating them (just softens them up so I'm not eating so much dry bread all at once), but he claims that a Kraft Singles processed cheese slice wrapped around a banana is good. Says it doesn't taste like either component, apparently forming some gestalt flavour I guess. I don't buy it.
But I mean I guess I see that stuff all the time. Saw a coworker dip a tuna sandwich into yogurt. Maybe it's just experimenting with strange flavor combos that Manitobans are known for.

>Honeydill sauce
Scratch that, Honey Dill sauce is definitely Manitoba's most characteristic food item. It blew my mind when I tried asking for it with chicken/fries in America or other provinces, and they just looked confused.

How is peanut butter sweet? It's supposed to be salty.
