I'm considering graduating in 연세 due to quite lax conditions for foreigners/friendly connections with my current university.
However some of the local korean exchange students warned me that graduation there would be worthless,

I got accepted for a stay abroad at Yonsei recently, so next year I will be taking courses in Business Economics there during this semester.
The responses I got from Koreans have ranged from friendly to hilariously hostile.
One guy thought I came for the women and his response was "Don't go. The women don't like westerners. Our sewers are bad and it smells like shit everywhere. You will be bullied because we don't like westerners."
And another person said:
"You will make lots of friends! Especially if you go out and parttake in noreabang. Be sure to try kimchi and bibimbap and to visit *various districts of which I can't remember the name*."
I'm getting the feeling that the only reason certain people try and withhold foreign students from going to South Korea is because they are afraid of getting cucked.

I´ve been around Korea and Seoul five times and always enjoyed myself. Then again, I´m not an autistic faggot expecting to be served everything on a tourist platter. Maybe Disneyland would be more to your liking. There´s bright colours, music and stuffed animals.
