Feels good. The only reason for German's unfavourable reputation is the fact that most people don't hear it spoken unless it's some WW2 movie where a SS official barks orders at his goons.
The songs posted in here are a good starting point. I'd also recommend watching some German plays if you ever get the chance, even some movies in German would suffice. German has a lovely melody to it and a vast variety of different regional accents and what not.
It's also a wonderful language when written. Read some Kant, Schiller or Goethe if your German is decent enough. It's absolutely astonishing how some people manage to paint with language.
