Mä en oikee osaa ilmaista tätä asiaa ehkä oikein mutta nyt tuntuu niin pahalta että on pakko saada tää jotenkin ilmaistua.
Läheinen ja pitkäaikainen kaverini teki itsemurhan eilen.
Hänellä oli diagnosisoitu maanisdepressiivinen mielialahäiriö ja hän oli yrittänyt itsemurhaa aikaisemmin. Mutta nyt hän oli ollut viimeisen vuoden todella hyvässä kunnossa. Onnistui koulussa, oli poikaystävä jonka kanssa tämä asui, muutenkin hän oli onnistunut saamaan itsensä fyysisesti hyvään kuntoon. Puhuin hänen kanssa viime viikolla, enkä ollut koskaan nähnyt häntä niin iloisena. Sovimme että menisimme ensi viikolla kaljalle ja hyvästelimme toisemme hymysuin kun lähdin.
Kuitenkin, jostain syystä, kun näin eilen uutisen junan alle jääneestä naisesta ja jotenkin vain tiesin että se oli hän.

It has had some effect on the evolution of the language, though I'm not knowledgeable enough on that matter to say anything more specifically. We still don't really care a whole lot about the borders, and from what I know nothing really changed during WW2 as far as the borders are concerned, more like troubles emerging from the borderareas being a low-intensity warzone.

Ne ovat mielestäni hieman naurettavia. Ne lakit jotka myydän kaupoissa tai markkinoissa ovat satavarmaan suomalaisten oma käsityöta, joten eivät kovin 'saamelaisia' ole. Oikeat lapinpuvut ja niihin kuuluvia artikkeleita ovat ensinäkin kalliita, ja ne vaati paljon työtä tehdä. Miksi monet saamelaiset suuttuu tästä asiasta on koska luodaan ei-saamelaisille sellainen kuva että esim. neljän tuulen lakki on halpa ja massa-tuotettu turistikamaa, kun todellisuudessa kyseessä on laadukasta käsityötä. Tätä ja politiikkaa lukuunottamatta, hyvin toimeen tullaan pohjois-lapissa ainakin minun kokemuksieni mukaan.
