>And here we can see the average Canadian waiting for his healthcare appointment
>>57801151
Die already
>>57802456
"no"
>>57802725
Need some help?
I have brought this chart to enforce the feeling of superiority amongst our countrymen
>prioritize seriously sick people, get waiting lists
>walk in clinics are free to go see your doctor any time
what's so bad about this
>>57803208
You can't get fucked over by insurance companies.
>>57802822
Whoa I didn't know you were white.
Put the gun down. You can get a turn with your women soon, too.
>>57803208
>Prioritize
More like working at 1/10 maximum capacity to charge the gov the most money for least work.
Unless you're literally dying you will not be getting prompt treatment.
>>57803208
>be Canadian
>have strange bulge on left leg
>don't know what it is but it is getting bigger
>make doctors appointement to check what it is
>after 437 days you get there
>it is cancer, spread out over your entire body now
>die next day
>could've been saved if you were ther 400 days earlier
There's literally no reason to go to a doctor unless you're dying , those yearly checkups or whatever are just a meme
Only fat people get sick and need hospitals anyways
>>57803295
>There's literally no reason to go to a doctor unless you're dying , those yearly checkups or whatever are just a meme
>It's just a meme anon! Literally EVERY single country with socialized healthcare which does it more efficiently is wrong!
>Lol preventative medicine is SUCH a memay!!
>Lol why would u want to do a physical exam to check for any abnormalities or get blood work done?
>>57803295
damn I hope you're not actually this stupid
>>57803244
Now u done gone fucked up Jamal
>be Canadian politician
>need serious surgery
>the government pays for me to fly to America and get it because it would take to long to wait in Canada
>come back home and extol the virtues of socialized medicine
Americans go to yearly checkups? What the fuck am I reading?
>>57803537
>Be Canada
>LITERALLY only one of the 3 countries in the world that forbid private healthcare/clinics(the other 2 are third world if I'm not mistaking)
LITERALLY
CANT
MAKE
THIS
SHIT
UP
It's hilarious how Canada has the worst aspects of capitalism AND the worst aspects of socialism all in one. How is that even possible?
>>57803621
Non white detected
>>57803621
>forbid private healthcare
>>57803654
He is right.
You need private clinics to cater to the hypochondriacs for all possible checkups etc, then your state governed institution can do the dirty work.
>>57803621
>forbid private healthcare
what? this is certainly not the case in my province
>>57803714
It's true.
It's legit retarded. So even if you're a billionaire, unless you want to fly out of the country you're stuck rotting next to plebs in the waitingroom.
>>57803654
Why does that make me nonwhite to point out the absurdity of this shit?
>>57803742
>>>57803621 (You)
>>forbid private healthcare
>what? this is certainly not the case in my province
It is in Ontario, not sure about the others.(they're irrelevant anyway desu)
>>57803295
Here's your reply
>mfw the canadian government keeps jerking off about our healthcare to keep the old people happy when it's not even within the top 15 most efficient healthcares of the developed world, yet alone OECD.
>>57803828
he's partially right
hypochondriacs are a fucking plague. I used to work with people who would literally take sick days and take their entire families to the doctor because they wake up feeling queasy, and therefore assume they have gastro or even fucking appendicitis, when it turns out they're literally just gassy. Keep in mind this behaviour actually costs taxpayer money (and LOTS of it), and makes the healthcare system even more overworked.
>>57803848
>top 15
Try even not top 40
Dude our healthcare is DOGSHIT
Absolute trash. If anyone denies it they're either trolling, using a proxy or have never had anyone in their family/themselves who was seriously sick or had to go to the hospital.
>>57803913
Not being in top 40 is stretching it. Bloomberg efficiency ranking places Canada at 21, WHO (2000) overall ranking has Canada at 31 (but before the primary care reform so it should be higher), and some other rankings I forgot has it near 20-25.
Of course you shouldn't directly compare healthcare systems, it's one of the few tenets of health economics. But Canadian healthcare is definitely underwhelming.
>>57801151
But it's free lmao
I'm vey inexperienced with health care systems, are yours better than ours or what?
>>57804317
>I'm vey inexperienced with health care systems, are yours better than ours or what?
Not from what I've heard, it's very hard to be worse than ours
