Where putting them in and out of a dryer takes ten seconds and cost about 45 cents. Would you work for $2.70 an hour? Because that's what you're doing with the clothes rack. Using a dryer frees up time, which in America is more valuable than $2.70 an hour.

Gas stoves are generally cheaper to operate and more efficient than electric ones. Turning the gas into electricity then running the electricity to an electric stove is a lot more than simply running the gas to the stove. If the house doesn't have gas lines then your probably better off with electric, but many homes have gas lines.
