Had a Facebook around 13-ish-15, it was just so cancerous. People being so invested in the lives of others and spouting vitriol at one another, so much superficial drama. It just seemed like it heavily detracted people from having a face to face conversation i.e. "why go over and hang out with cindy when i can just message her?" Currently still have an Instagram because it's pictures only and no ignorant text posts to see. I do like to keep up with various family members and friends that live very far away but I constantly think about deleting it cause I do still run into the same old bullshit.
