I live in northwest Washington. Internet is pretty good depending on how much you pay.

Rural persons here.
Rural life here is full of people you'd imagine a typical Canadian would be like; friendly and half-drunkards (sometimes).
Canadian East Coast rural life is quite nice, we boast the highest percentage of white people in North America.
Although having a large percentage of white people is a huge plus, we are doing quite poor when it comes to HDI and overall job opportunities.
Pic related is my internet. Dunno why but the Internet on Prince Edward Island is amazing, especially considering it's virtually in buttfuck-nowhere.
We have aids winters, but our mild summers kind of make up for it. If you're planning on travelling to North America and want something that isn't a metropolitan area, come here. We have tons of events going on in the summer, best beaches in Canada, a beautiful city (Charlottetown) and of course, white people (most of our tourists are Asian as well).
