>Europeans are too stupid to shave with a straight razor
This triggers the European male.
Please do not post dangerous weaponry

They're not too stupid, it's just illegal to have them

Shit ton cheaper too. You can buy a box of 500 razer blades for 30$ and that'll last you years, whereas you'd normally pay 30$ for 2 weeks worth of razers.

>Amusement turned to horror for the Auckland school's production when two of the actors were hurt, one seriously, while performing a throat-slitting scene on Wednesday.
>Kevin Nobbs, the father of one of the main actresses who performed in the musical, said it was still a mystery how the students were hurt.
>Unpracticed hands using a literal razor blade in a throat slitting scene for a play
>two people get sliced open
>still a mystery how the students were hurt
Should have known to only give non Americans the automatic cartridge type razors. They can't wrap their brains around actually needing skill to wield something so potentially dangerous.
It's not being stupid, regular shaving blades are easier and safer to use, which is a good thing when you're shaving when sleep drunk.
I wish I could grow a beard so I could treat myself on a proper shave at a barber with a straight razor.
>>57641447
They're cost-effective in the long run and when you get good with it they're quicker than shaving with a disposable razor or whatever, plus you'll get a better shave
>>57641710
>they're quicker than shaving with a disposable razor or whatever
if you shave every day you should be able to do it in like 3 minutes tops...
>>57641447
Infinitely more cost effective and gives an incomparably clean shave to cartridge types. >>57641499 and other safety types are also clean and close but you still need to buy replacement blades as they aren't designed for 100+ year longevity.
It's not comfortable to shave the bagina
Something like this is way better
>shaving
Girls like guys with beards now, shaving is bad for your skin, it costs money and time.
Just trim your beard once in week and you will be fine
>>57640959
I only use those to cut throats
I wouldnt ever let anyone shave me with one of those, not even myself
>>57642088
>Girls like guys with beards now, shaving is bad for your skin, it costs money and time.
Wow. You must be just a gorilla.
>I shave with a straight razor
>>57640959
Sorry for stupid Q
How long does that last sharp?
>>57642735
You have to maintain it, like any other knife.

>>57642894

>>57642735
like 2-3 shaves
then you sharpen it aga
>>57640959
That kind of stuff is reserved for Art of Manliness larpers. It has no benefits over disposable razors
I switched to safety razors to save money, but straight razors are a level of autism I'm not prepared to deal with
>>57641941
>you still need to buy replacement blades
Easier than fucking oiling and sharpening that shit
I'll never regret switching from a meme razor to a safety razor
Ten bucks every five years is a good fucking deal
>>57642735

Metal > Hair.
Depends on the metal used but it stays sharp indefinitely. You strop it before every shave though. A strop is just a bit of leather that bends the edge back to razor sharpness after it gets warped from a shave. Metal > Hair.
If it does start to go dull for whatever reason, you just hone it or have someone else hone it for you.
>>57640959
I have 3 of those but i`m not confident to try.

>Ten bucks every five years
I never put down safeties. The shave itself is every bit as good as a straight. But even those need a skilled hand to use them properly. Just pointing out that Europeans are EZ mode to the max.
>>57643194

Enjoy your gnarled face.
>having a beard
Enjoy your itching
I have never used shaving foam
I have used the same Old Spice shaving soap bar for the last 8 years and it's still only halfway used
I shave 3 times a week
>>57644676
>has a beard
Shaving it off means my face itches like crazy for a day or so. Beard ftw.
Also shows you actually produce testosterone.
>>57644336
>t. unemployed/muslim
I have contemplated going full neckbeard hobo and simply not shaving for a long time to see what I look like after months of growing a full, untrimmed mountain man beard but I always tap out. Shit gets so itchy and gross.

Haram as fuck habibi
I can't be bothered shaving since it'll grow back in a day.
>>57648769
I think everyone has to deal with issue, Finn. It's kind of the nature of hair and the whole purpose behind shaving at all.
>not shaving with a sabre
pussy westerners as always

Shaving soap is what really makes a difference. A good shaving soap can make up for a crappy razor.

>>57641213

That is the stupidest thing I have ever read.
"Lets use real blades in a play in the exact same manner that people use these to actually hurt people, and everything will be fine because it's only a play."
>>57652384
Damn that looks comfy
>>57651958
It's cheaper, lasts longer, very low environmental impact unlike anything in a spray can, many formulations have lanolin for extra smoothness, and there are dozens of different formations for different skin types. It also gives a distinctly different feel from a foam. Much less lather, but the lather is thicker and seems to cling more.
You can find find shaving soap kits at almost any drug store. Walmart sells them.
