A better example would be how terribly inneficient they were with fossil fuels (why research alternative energy sources when coal and oil works? Pssh profit? Who cares, what we have is easy!) Or the massive deforestation that occurred in Maoist China.

They also had bioweapon lab in there, so easily can infect waters with different deadly shit, including anthrax, and use those waters for irrigation.

Also, we have tons of radioactive waste slowly going down the river Ob into the Arctic Sea with more radioactive material than Chernobyl and Fukushima combined.
Thanks Russia.

What the Russian said is retarded, but not impossible. Lake Chad shrank quite a bit in a short amount of time mostly due to droughts (although deforestation changing watershed patterns also had an effect). Not defending him though, the Aral Sea definitely shrank due to human activity.
>>
But that's not definitive, the countries that have the river can save it if they want, but they prefer having cotton crops.
>>
>>57637329
Yeah, weather just built that irrigation system and planted all that cotton.
>>

Yeah, I guess as soon as synthetic alternatives to cotton become economically and qualitatively more viable, and the Central Asian cunts consequently giving up irrigated cotton farming, the lake will probably fill up again to pre-Soviet levels in a decade or less
