Hungarians had absurd land claims while even inside their current borders they hadn't fully assimilated indigenous minorities. Slavic settlement in Vojvodina and Romanian settlement in Transylvania precedes Hungarians considerably, most likely the local Hungarians are actually mentally ill Slavs and Vlachs who sided with the invaders. We have a similar problem with Finland-Swedes.
