Vocaroo time! You know the rules; Post things in your language, read things in other language.
Starting with obligatory English. It's a poem by Mark Twain.
These annual bills! these annual bills!
How many a song their discord trills
Of 'truck' consumed, enjoyed, forgot,
Since I was skinned by last year's lot!
Those joyous beans are passed away;
Those onions blithe, O where are they?
Once loved, lost, mourned-now vexing ILLS
Your shades troop back in annual bills!
And so 'twill be when I'm aground
These yearly duns will still go round,
While other bards, with frantic quills,
Shall damn and damn these annual bills!

one of most famous croatian poems,voćka poslije kiše by dobriša cesarić:
Gle malu voćku poslije kiše:
Puna je kapi pa ih njiše.
I bliješti suncem obasjana,
Čudesna raskoš njenih grana.
Al nek se sunce malko skrije,
Nestane sve te čarolije.
Ona je opet kao prvo,
Obično, jadno, malo drvo.

Here you go mates, a nice excerpt from Regain by Jean Giono.

>fishing
lucky bugger. yeah spring tides can be tricky. Spider crabs are fine! Not crab spider, kek. (writing this as you speak so the flow is awful).
Good meals can be made with them, good fun to cook.. yeah i dont eat seafood either.
>friend
YOU FUCKIN NORMIE, NOOOOOOOOOORMIE REEE.
> scallops
you better know how to prepare them lad, seen lots of folk completely wreck some good quality scallops before even cooking them
Have a great day tomorrow bro

>you better know how to prepare them lad, seen lots of folk completely wreck some good quality scallops before even cooking them
Not for me to prepare them, I don't eat them, but I don't worry about that
>Have a great day tomorrow bro
Aight, if it's a great catch I'll post a pic of the result in the thread
>>57591693
>Not for me to prepare them, I don't eat them, but I don't worry about that
yeah I don't eat them but I like preparing and cooking them so that's a little different I guess. The only seafood i can handle is oysters with a nice quality sancerre. That's only because I swallow the oysters whole, though.
>Aight, if it's a great catch I'll post a pic of the result in the thread
Ayee, looking forward to it
The threads aren't as active as during the last days, what's going on

Mind posting some greek for me to butcher?
>>57596092
of course I dont mind.
I think the best thing to read is a song, so you can get immediate feedback on the pronounciation
Here's the song : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEN3MoREC_k&nohtml5=False&ab_channel=sofakisamos
In seajew tongue
And in latin
San mia hordí pu htipái dinatá
mésa sto stíthos su
san ástro pu svíni
kai mia melodía pu píso s` aphíni
iméra mu, phos mu, zoí mu
psihí mu kai páthos
ke láthos kai télos kai arhí mu
mikrí mu, pliyí mu.
notes:
d is read like th in the, this, that
th is read like th in theater

Sup' guys
>>57597965
not common at all
we dont have the sh sound
>>57596477
>μέσα στο στήθος σου
a little too tongue twister-y for me
http://vocaroo.com/i/s1hSDbBdtCVT
>>57598452
first of all, your accent is the cutest thing I've heard in my life
it was actually really good, you did well. the only thing I noticed was your -r was a bit too soft. you need to roll it, greek has a very strong R sound. other than that pretty much perfect, not butchered at all
>>57598094
Hey greekbro, could you please read this for me?
>>57598972
woo!
It's much easier with the song desu, mistakes are much less noticeable desu.
