I don't hate Russians, they're p. okay folks. It's just that Russian raison d'État requires a lot of slaves, both Russian and non-Russian. Russian culture has evolved in totally different direction than Western empires - their whole political classes are corrupted, the people are switching places but the system is the same. Even the communist revolution couldn't change that - communists just took a place of aristocracy but acted in a very similar way, exploiting and humiliating everyone under them.
I pity regular Russians because they were born in a post-feudal culture and are fucked in the ass worse than we were under Soviet Russian rule. the difference is we (by that I mean West Slavs) always considered Russian tyranny as something exterior and that made it easier to break free because our elites could catalyse the frustration of masses against one enemy - Russia. Russians can't do that because their worst enemies are other Russians, both those who exploit them and those who accept being exploited.

Our politicians and academics outside of the humanities are overwhelmingly neoliberal and socially progressive. The USSR was economically far left and socially somewhat conservative (homos sent to the gulag and stuff).
