I'm a 27 year old Portuboo (Portuguese culture fan for you filhos das putas). I play Fado on my Portuguese guitar and spend my days perfecting my art and enjoying superior Portuguese passtimes. (Watching Benfica games, drinking Sagres)
I train with my sextant every day, this superior instrument can find the coordinates anywhere in the world because it's been precisely calibrated, and is vastly superior to any other instrument on Earth. I earned my sailing license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak Portuguese fluently, both Caldas da Rainha and Lisboa dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Portuguese history and the Code of Afonso Henriques, which I follow 100%.
When I get my Portuguese visa, I am moving to Coimbra to attend a prestigious university to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become a farmer in the Alentejo or a ship captain!
I own several Coimbra style trajes, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Portugal, so I can fit in easier. I address my elders and seniors as "você" and speak Portuguese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
