What are english teachers like in your cunt?
>>
>>57485749
No matter who they are, we will always sound retarded when trying to speak english.
>>
>>57485912
I know two native finns who have not traveled at all.
One speaks well enough fucking up a few pronunciations.
One speaks English incredibly clearly.

English teachers in English-speaking countries are idiots who studied English in university because they couldn't do anything else, and on graduation they go into teaching because they can't do anything else with their qualifications.

>+Hello children how are you ?
>-Fine thanks and you

>>
I don't really know
But german teachers are fucking weird
>>
>>57485749
I studied English at uni, and one of our teachers were a hyper angloboo German woman in her 40s.

It was kinda weird to be taught about the English language by a non-native speaker, but she seriously knew her shit. She lived and breathed it.

I feel like teaching english in foreign countries would be fun, but the stereotype that I see whenever I ask what foreign countries one would work in is Japan. They always answer Japan.

Is this where the whole idea of it being fun would spawn from? Just weebing it up in Japan??

Liberal sjw cunts who can't stop talking about how bad white people are and MUH African literature.
>>
>>57486834

Just go to another country, jesus christ.
>>
>>57486834
Everywhere else is either third world or already English speaking enough to not be too different from anglo cunts.
So fun usually means exotic while they remain in civilization.

My German teacher isn't weird tbqh, as long as nobody says the word "Hitler"
>>
I had a private tutor and he was mean
>>
>>57487616
You can't really call it American because spics would get ass blasted over it because they call the entire continent America.
>>
>>57487616
If they called it "American", it might be the only instance of a natural language being named after a person.

Mexico, Canda, UK, Spain, Morocco, Italy, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Philippines, Singapore, Japan

At my school they were generally the friendliest teachers desu
>>
English teachers are notoriously incompetent since it's the only subject where students are likely to overtake their teachers nowadays (thanks Internet!)

Mine was rude and insulted me. I hated English, tore apart several exercise books in front of her and in general was constatly buttmad as hell.
...Then I passed English exam with best marks in school to spite her and entered one of the best uni, BA in Linguistics.

(sorry for shitty language, it was a long time ago, lol)

>>57488460
Was she hot?
>>
>>57488522
She had a long nose and greasy hair. I called her Snape.

Young people normally who like to teach, from all teachers they are the ones who try the most.

One was a weeaboo who used to speak with us about anime, like some /a/ level of a weeaboo who will freak out about characters being OP and shit.
>>
>>57488703
Which character did they say was the strongest?
>>
>>57488128
Filipino's speak Tagalog you mong. I haven't seen one in years, and I know that. You have them knee deep around you, you should know this.
>>
>>57488902
I have never seen a Filipino person in person in my life.

>Which character did they say was the strongest?
Pain. And he was talking once about how Jiraiya isn't getting the credits he deserve.

Well, we had French English teacher who were usually just normal teachers. Some good, some bad. And English teachers from Anglophone countries, mostly the UK. These ones were either young teachers who tried really hard to make us learn English, and who were actually pretty good at their job, or fat old depressive English women who just didn't care.

One of my favorite teachers ever was one of these native English teacher. She was a total Franceboo, which is why she chose to teach her. She wasn't really pretty, but she was a great teacher, very energetic, and she was one for the few teachers I've ever seen that the students loved so much that they tried to have good grades to make her happy.

>>57486544
>Fine thanks and you
>Okay sit down
You've been given a terrible education, sorry to tell you. Saying "fine thanks and you" isn't just some random idiomatic statement, it's a question, meaning "I am fine, thank you for asking. And how are you doing?" So, your teacher should respond with "I'm fine, thanks. Okay sit down".

They vary a lot desu. In high school I got a lot of the liberal types who made us read shitty African books like "Cry, the Beloved Country" and "Things Fall Apart". All of my actual useful reading (Gravity's Rainbow, Kierkegaard, Hegel, Nietzsche, Plato) I had to do on my own time. Basically, writing and basic reading and spelling as a young child, grammar and vocab as a 3rd-5th grader, writing and some reading in middle school, and high school was all reading, analysis, and essay writing. Sometimes if you're lucky one of your teachers might do some poetry.

In college they're even more liberal, but it's more about reading and learning concepts than it is learning how to write an essay.

Hey you take that back, Things Fall Apart is a really good book.

It shows both the ugly side of colonial missionary work and the self-destructive elements of Igbo tribal culture.
>>
>>57490063
It was a good book but it was irrelevant, especially compared to the classics of Europe (none of which we read).
>>
