Absolute monarchy is crap.
Modern Constitutional Monarchies are great. The vast majority of modern royalty is professional, contributes to their country in some way, and isn't scandal ridden (exceptions being some Saudis and that one princess in southeast Asia). I have no idea why so many countries have any serious "get rid of the monarchy" movements.
