From my two platoon mates who have gone and passed selection they said the hardest part was the final ruck. They don't tell you the distance at the beginning but they found out later it was over 20 miles, with about 80 pounds in their rucksacks.
This is after doing nothing but rucking all the previous days too.
Basically, if you can ruck you'll make it, is what both of them have told me

The FFL will not check your medical history so if you have no obvious signs of injury or illness you can blag it. The Spanish Foreign Legion only accepts people from former Spanish colonies.

Though I've only been a mere conscript, I can tell you battling mental health issues while sleep deprivated, hungry, outright pissed and extremely stressed off will not carry you far.
There are a lot of jobs in the military, so no need to toss away all hope, but I think combat roles are pretty much out of the question.
