>Romans spoke with an English accent
>Ancient Egyptians spoke with an English accent
>everyone in the medieval and early modern period spoke with an English accent

>>57427566

>>57427625

E.g. black lancelot
>>57427566
The English accent is just too sophisticated sounding
Everyone in the middle ages also had it
>>57427719
>black Lancelot
>>57427566
Have proper cuisine and be French I guess.
>>57427719
Lancelot was french, so he probably was black.
But everybody thinks in finnish, no matter what language they speak.
>>57427929
>>57428003
Do you think im joking?
>>57427964
>be French
we did that already
The southern posh English accent is the only neutral accent
>>57428081
Dude, Lancelot was french, so he wasn't white.
Portraiting him black is actually accurate.
>>57428081
surprised that's not done by the BBC
>>57427719
For the poorly read, Lancelot is the knight the cucks King Arthur and fucks Gwynevere.
>>57428081
Are you being disingenuous or just silly?
>>57428177
what did he mean by this
>>57428209
The show is about contemporary Americans imagining themselves in old fairy tales. They were not implying Lancelot was black.
>>57428332

can't really blame me for believing the memes blacks claim carthage and egypt were black as well
>>57428110
You are still actually.
>>57428391
>can't really blame me
You can't tell me what to do, cunt.
>>57428547
step off, bitch
>>57428391
>mfw Finland did that with their greatest national hero

>>57428081
I once read a post by an american unironically explaining American English sounds more like Medieval English than British English
>>57428438
Well duhhhhh we didn't just pop into existence one night.
>>57428152
>>57428003
Ya know, when you force the same joke twice and still get no reply, maybe it's just that you should drop it m8.
>>57428732
Dunno about burgerclaps, but Québecois French is actually closer to what French sounded like in the 1700's than present day French as spoken in France.
>>57428003
god bless Armenia
>>57428003
>>57428152
>he was serious
>>57428732
I've never heard that before, but I've often heard from linguists that the southern dialect of the United States, is closer to ancestral english than the North Eastern/Boston accent.
