English has German grammar structure.

That's it though,

so are you telling me it has the least in common?

Also, that's not true that it only has german grammar structure. Lots of english words are derived from the same word that their equivalent german words are derived from.

shwimming for example

Yes, but Latin leanwords are very prevalent in English, more so than German or Scandi words.

French was the language of the educated for a long time.

no it doesn't. english has scandi grammar structure, but vocabulary more similar to german.

thats really difficult to answer m8

scandi has more in common with german than english does simply because both former categories have less influence from latin.

we just have more words in total than those other languages since the addition of latin words is all

French and Latin overestimated by the layman because of the pretentious loanword movement 500-600 years ago.

still, we use latin and french-influenced vocabulary much more heavily than both germans or scandis. something that they have in common is long compound words, the expressions of which we tend to use the respective romanticized forms (krankenwagen, sick car, becomes ambulance in english)

most pools have overflow tanks

that couldn't make up for somebody unexpectedly submersing themselves.. i think the waterfall was purposefully part of the experience if anything..
