I visited Pelourinho and it was nice. I then had to shit when I was going through the urban areas of Salvador and there was a office looking business that let me use the restroom. It was dark but illuminated by the light from outside and it was sunset. It was a toilet near a balcony by a destroyed wall and destroyed floor. I could see the floor below me and the street several stories below. It was as if someone shot an RPG at the bathroom. The toilet looked like it had herpes budding from its porcelain. Most terrifying and sweaty shit I ever had. I squatted just enough not to touch anything.
