You ever seen a scene in a horror type film where the protagonist is walking through a bustling peaceful area with lots of people, and then they either turn around or exit a doorway or something and all of a sudden it turns quiet and everyone disappears and you know shit is about to go down?
Thats what black ghettos are like. One minute everyone will be going about there thing, the next everyone is gone hiding in their apartments and if you aren't a part of the crowd, you will have no idea what is happening. right before you get in the middle of some gang related drive by shooting or something.
Much worse. If you stop at a stop sign you will get approached on all sides and MAYBE given a warning.
If you're wearing the wrong colors you will be harassed and probably shot on sight.
If you look unfamiliar you'll probably get jumped.

Only true for those densely populated housing project areas which only exist these days in the Northeast and Midwest cities. You can drive around places like Compton and Oakland and Miami without being in much danger.

depends who you are and where the ghetto in question is. some places are poor and black without having a shit ton of murders but you'll still get looks for being out of place as a white person. some places are poor and have big problems with gang and drug violence.
