>"USA is a developed nation"
>no public transportation
>crumbling infrastructure
>areas that literally look third world
it's only a matter of time until America joins Russia in the "disgusting shithole" group.
>>57393408
Are these actual accidents or just people commiting suicide by train?
>>57393408
Public transportation is not free(dom) though
>>57393408
>>no public transportation
>>crumbling infrastructure
Where the fuck do you live?
It's a tad late to invest in public transportation now that autonomous vehicles are on the horizon.
>>57393636
the rust belt
SAVE ME PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE
>>57393779
We got buses here in Cincinnati....
>>57393408
You hate freedom.
>>57393857
Wait a minute.. The batman water towers are real?
Live near Baltimore, spend a lot of time in the city
>shit public transportation: buses always late, trains always breaking down, etc.
>most of the city is dilapidated
>no industry
>no signs of any of this changing
someone fix this shit
>>57393408
that would certainly appear to be the plan.
ever heard of cloward piven?
but lets not change leadership while everything is going along so well...
>>57393408
>no public transport
Maybe in your garbage city, don't blame the country because your area can't get its shit together
>areas that look third world
Literally EVERY COUNTRY has these places, what are you smoking?
Just another self hating American/euro dickrider thread, sage and move on.
>>57394406
I live near Filthadelphia and it lives up to its name. Someone please help us
>>57394406
>>57394633
>Someone please help us
There's no help for us.
>>57394755
T-Trump though
>>57394406
That is like every other US city.
Public transit is garbage here in Miami.
>>57393779
lol here on the East Coast we access to the entire nation and public transportation basically everywhere.
t.newyork shitposter
LAND OF THE FREE
Baltimore is a nice city though.
I was a tourist and loved it.
>>57393477
You can't accidentally get hit by a fucking train. What's it going to do? Jump out of the bushes and kill you?
>>57394633
>>57394755
b-be the change you want to be in the world, right guys...?
>>57394843
People at least fucking go to Miami. No one comes to Baltimore except to look at two blocks of the harbor, go to the Aquarium, or get shitfaced in a white trash bar in Fells Point.
>>57394800
I'm pretty sure Baltimore will riot
again
if Trump wins
>>57394978
Your mom gets hit by a train every night haha
>>57394271
Batman was filmed in Detroit because Detroit resembled the director's vision of a crumbling, disgusting, crime ridden shit hole.
Also it was cheap as fuck.
>>57394955
Where did you go? Baltimore basically has a four-block wide strip going down the center of the city where it's "safe" to be, everything past that is immediate ghetto.
>>57394991
Thanks for the trains Baltimore.

>>57395045
Which batman movie
>>57395113
The new one.
>>57395113
Nolan's trilogy. Maybe others. Pretty sure a lot of super hero movies are filmed in Detroit because, like I said, they represent gritty crumbling crime ridden shit holes which is what every superhero movie wants to take place in.
>>57395192
I know that the second movie was filmed in Chicago and the third was New York. Unless Detroit is one an island
>>57395192
Dark Knight trilogy was shot in Chicago senpai
>>57395261

>>57394904
>>57395084
Do a Google image search for "Baltimore skyline." It'll be the same fucking picture over and over again because that's the only good picture of Baltimore that exists.
>>57395084
Here's a typical day on the shitty trains here in Philadelphia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8qtOWpv53M
>>57395393
Oh and Gotham City was filmed primarily in Pittsburg.
OP is a communist faggot twink.
>>57395558
and you're a stupid fat burger nigger
>>57393408
>public transportation
The US has the Capitalist version of Public Transport: Affordable Flight.
>>57395669
>mfw it costs $100 to fly from Florida to New York
>mfw it costs $200 to drive from Florida to New York
>mfw it costs $300 to take a train from Florida to New York
>>57395669
I don't know how it is in Europe, but we use public transportation to travel within and between cities and surrounding suburbs. I rely on public transportation to get to university every day, which consists of a car ride to the train station, a train ride to the city, a short walk to the bus station, and then a bus ride to school.
wtf usa looks lame as fuck i thought it was cool
>>57396007
you don't need a bullet train to get from a suburb to a center.
and everything further than that you can easily fly in the US.
A Socialist Government has to provide it's people with public transportation, a Capitalist Government must enable the Economy to provide Transportation, and in the 21st century, Flying happens to be easier than building and maintaining long range high speed train lanes.
>>57396158
hate to break it to you, but public transportation is a lot more socialist in the U.S. than it is in for example NL.
>Paying 2 or 3 dollars for an hour-long metro ride
Paradise.
>>57396152
there are a few great places in America, but the rest is shit.
>>57396266
Pretty much every form of public transportation is subsidized by the government in every country. There are very few examples of public transport that isn't
>>57396343
kek I ride on amtrak every weekend when I got home to LA from UCSB
last quarter the same train ran over 2 people. I don't know what kind of dumb fucks walk on rails, but if it's suicide please stay home and blow your brains out instead. Save everyone on the train 3 hours of delay
>>57396420
I hate being stuck on trains that people decided to jump in front of
>>57394904
>LA traffic
end my life senpai
i know this is shitpost but US is light years ahead of Russia, only major flaw in US i see as outsider is healthcare being so fucking expensive and the massive college debts
>>57396544
Health insurance and go to school that is for you and avoid leftist degrees
>>57396614
well to my knowledge even with Health Insurance you will end up with massive debts in case of serious injury (Car crash/broken leg)
and i hate the idea coming out of school and having this huge debt on me, i feel like ending school should be fresh start
>tfw in our lifetimes the west will fall and east Asia will be the new most developed region
>tfw humanities last hope is gone
>>57396409
Our government actually makes money on train tickets though. NS made 150 million in profits in 2015. That's about 8% of the total revenue.
>>57396726
No if you have health insurance it'll only cost you a few hundred dollars at the most
I more or less agree with you on the debt part
>>57396785
Where do they get the money for maintenance then?
>>57395669
>take a jet from a suburb to the city center
I think you missed the point intentionally to make another one which missed the point.
>>57396834
They have high taxes especially for owning a vehicle which is why public transit and cycling is popular in the Netherlands/
>>57396948
They aren't making that much money to fund maintenance off of car taxes
>>57396834
Actually that's included. They make that profit despite doing road maintenance. A train ticket costs like 30 dollars for a 2h ride (full price, there are actually a lot of plans). Their revenue is about 4 billion a year.
>>57396948
It's like $450/year for a 1-ton car. It works differently in the USA so I don't know whether that's cheap or expensive.
>>57397375
You don't get taxed for having a car
>>57393408
Why do we still have passenger trains? It's like we're still in the wild west. Nobody uses them.
>>57397421
if anything, you get tax breaks
>>57395055
Mainly the harbor area.
I was told the Westside is a no-go area.
>>57397486
I took a train from Chicago to Memphis once. Took longer by train than by car
>>57395669
Fucking this. I've never rode a train before, and I wanted to see how it was, so I looked for a train from where I live (suburbs outside Detroit) to Chicago and it was literally cheaper to fly to Chicago than take a train
>>57396343
There's a greater number of great places, though, than there are bad places.
>>57397954
>My little goy can't be this dumb
>>57398003
he's not wrong
