The best thing anyone can do, if you can afford it, is turn on the air conditioner, close all windows, doors...
You basically have to stay in your refrigerator-bunker in order to survive the summer.

I know this is not a competition of who lives in the most hostile environment but you have to realize that Spain has a semi-arid climate in some places, danish summer is nothing compared to spanish summer
